Affordable HP laser printers have come by the dozen. However, even the average printer user nowadays have learned to grow weary of laser printer units sold cheaply but do bite them with very expensive replacements HP toners in the long term.
Without a doubt, HP dominates the printer market and their laser printers really do a nice job printing documents. It is the price of the replacement HP toners that has become a pain to customer wallets.
It is not surprising anymore why a great number of people have handed over their printing chores to online photo-sharing tools or online photo service providers that can conveniently send their print-outs right at their doorstep. Indeed, that is practical enough. But nothing beats having your own dependable laser printer, sitting next to your computer, which you can use any moment you need or want to.
Compatible HP toners have provided a good alternative and relief to printer owners burdened by the cost of pricey original printer toners. They, unfortunately, can only be used to older models. It takes at least 2 years before a compatible toner is properly developed for newer printer models.
For those thinking of buying an HP laser printer, it is wise to consider the consumable toner it will be using. Choose a model that requires readily available toner and, if you prefer, laser printer units that already have a corresponding compatible HP toner cartridge for replacements in the future.
